A short story about us

Hi my name is Zoe and welcome to Zoe Designs. I'm located in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty of New Zealand, a place renowned for its stunning landscapes and vibrant community.

I got into laser engraving and resin art through admiring other creators that are local to me and through social media platforms, where I discovered a myriad of talented individuals expressing their creativity. And after years of watching others and being inspired by their journeys, I decided to take the plunge and have a go myself. This transition has been more than just a hobby; it has blossomed into a true passion that ignites my spirit with joy and excitement every day.

My specialty is serveware in the forms of wooden serving / charcuterie boards. This was a no-brainer for me because anyone who knows me or my family knows that we love a good old cheese board, filled with an array of delicious cheeses, cured meats, and all the fancy food items that come with it! My boards are often the centerpiece of family gatherings and celebrations, bringing people together to share in a feast of flavors and great conversations.

To add a point of difference to my product offerings and to stand out in the vibrant world of artisanal crafts, I decided to incorporate resin art to each board. Each piece is hand poured with great care and love, so every board not only serves a functional purpose but also becomes a unique, one-off art piece that reflects the creativity and dedication right from my heart to yours.

With 2026 here, I've decided it's time to level up and take my passion seriously. This journey has taught me so much about art, authenticity, and entrepreneurship, and here we are, at the exciting threshold of new possibilities and adventures! I eagerly look forward to expanding my collection and connecting with customers who share my love for creativity and exquisite craftsmanship. Thank you for being part of this journey!
